One thing customers don’t always see is the work that goes on behind the scenes to keep our own vehicles operating safely and reliably.
Recently, I took some time to address several maintenance items on one of our fleet vehicles. The project included suspension-related repairs, brake service, inspections, and a general effort to catch up on maintenance that had accumulated over time.
As I worked through the repairs, I was reminded of something I’ve learned over the years: small issues rarely stay small if they’re ignored. Addressing maintenance concerns early helps improve reliability, safety, and overall vehicle performance.
During the brake service, I also decided to add a little personal touch by refinishing the brake drums. While the primary goal was ensuring everything was functioning properly, it’s always satisfying when a repair not only improves performance but also looks good when it’s finished.
The vehicles we use every day are important tools for serving our customers. Whether we’re traveling to inspect damage, helping customers with hail claims, performing Paintless Dent Repair, or handling other automotive services, dependable transportation matters.
The same mindset I bring to customer vehicles is the same mindset I bring to my own fleet: inspect carefully, diagnose correctly, repair what needs attention, and take pride in the finished result.
