Warranty Paintless Dent Repair in Aubrey, TX — A Dent the Owner Saw Every Day
Some dents are easy to ignore.
Others are in exactly the wrong place.
This recent warranty Paintless Dent Repair at Divine Dents in Aubrey, Texas involved a dent on the driver’s door of a black truck, close to the door handle.
The owner told me something that will probably sound familiar to anyone who has had a dent in this area:
It drove him crazy because he saw it every time he walked up to his truck.
Every time he approached the driver’s side and reached for the door handle, there it was.
This repair was also being handled as a warranty repair, which makes it a good opportunity to show the kind of attention we give to warranty PDR work at Divine Dents.
Warranty PDR Still Deserves Attention to Detail
Whether we’re working on a customer-pay repair or an eligible warranty repair, the goal doesn’t change: provide the best Paintless Dent Repair result the damage will reasonably allow.
At Divine Dents, PDR isn’t about simply making a dent less noticeable.
The small details matter.
That’s especially true with a dent located on the driver’s door, where the vehicle owner is going to see the area over and over again.
Why Do We Use a PDR Reflection Light?
f you’ve never watched Paintless Dent Repair closely, you may wonder about the striped reflection you see across the truck in these photos.
That reflection helps make subtle changes in the surface of the panel much easier to see.
When the metal is distorted, the reflected lines are distorted too. That gives us a much clearer view of the dent than ordinary shop lighting alone can provide.
It’s also why these photographs and the video provide such a useful way to look at the repair.
Instead of simply showing a finished truck and saying, “The dent is gone,” you can look at the panel under the reflection light and compare the area yourself.
Watch the Before and Finished Repair
A dent doesn’t have to cover half a door to become irritating.
Location matters.
A small dent near the driver’s door handle can be one of the most noticeable dents on an entire vehicle simply because of how often you see it.
You walk toward your vehicle.
You reach for the handle.
And your eyes go straight to that dent.
That’s exactly what this truck owner described.
And it happens to fit another type of repair we’ve been focusing on at Divine Dents: those annoying dents around the driver’s door and door-handle area.
The Driver Door Dent Special
Because these dents are so common—and because they can be so irritating—we’ve developed a Driver Door Dent Special for qualifying damage around this area.
Not every dent will qualify. Size, depth, location, access, body lines, previous repairs and the condition of the paint can all affect whether Paintless Dent Repair is appropriate and what is involved in repairing it.
But if you have that one dent you see every single time you get into your vehicle, it’s worth having us take a look.
Can Your Dent Be Repaired With PDR?
Paintless Dent Repair can be an excellent option for many dents when the paint is intact and the damage is suitable for PDR.
Because PDR works with the existing panel and finish, many qualifying dents can be repaired without conventional body filler and repainting.
Every dent is different, though, which is why Divine Dents evaluates the actual damage before determining the appropriate repair approach.
If you have a door dent, crease, hail damage, or another dent you’d like evaluated, you can start by sending us information about your vehicle and the damage.
