This Dodge Charger has already appeared in one of our repair videos, and this time we’re moving to another damaged area: the hood.
The first few seconds of the video give a quick look back at earlier repair work on the vehicle. From there, the focus shifts entirely to the hood.
Watching the metal move
Paintless dent repair is a process of controlled movement. Rather than simply pushing a dent outward, the panel is worked gradually while constantly checking the reflection and shape of the metal.
In this repair, you can actually watch the damaged area slowly become less visible as the hood is worked from underneath.

Refining the hood
The final stage involves smaller adjustments and careful refinement.
The goal is to bring the damaged area back into shape while preserving the original finish whenever the condition of the panel allows it.
The video ends with a quick look at the Charger’s 6.1L HEMI engine.
